Sales
Our Sales teams are at the heart of Fluent, helping customers find the right financial solutions for their needs. Whether it’s mortgages, secured loans, or other financial products, our advisers guide clients through every step of the process with expert knowledge and care.

Customer Management
Customer Relations ensures every client has a smooth and supportive journey with Fluent. From case management to team leadership, this department is all about maintaining trust, clarity, and efficiency throughout the process.

Marketing
Our Marketing team is responsible for growing Fluent’s brand and connecting with new audiences. Creative, innovative, and results-driven, they manage everything from digital campaigns to design.

IT
The IT team keeps Fluent running smoothly behind the scenes. From building new tools to supporting colleagues day-to-day, they play a vital role in enabling the whole business to perform at its best.

Finance
Our Finance team makes sure Fluent stays on track financially, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term growth. From managing accounts to providing key insights for business decisions, they play an essential role in keeping the company running smoothly.

Operations
Our Operation team ensures Fluent operates with integrity, transparency, and in line with regulatory requirements. They play a crucial role in protecting both our customers and the business by managing risk, maintaining standards, and supporting colleagues across all departments.

Fluent changed my life
Where I Started
I joined Fluent as a Mortgage Adviser, where I built a strong foundation in client service and financial solutions. This role gave me the opportunity to work directly with customers, understand their needs, and deliver tailored advice, which set the stage for my progression into leadership.
How I Grew
I was promoted to Mortgage Team Manager, where I focused on coaching and developing high-performing advisers. From there, I advanced into the role of Mortgage Sales Manager and later Head of Mortgage Sales, where I broadened my impact by driving departmental performance, implementing scalable processes, and aligning sales strategy with business growth.
Most recently, I stepped into a cross-functional leadership position as Head of Customer Planning & Performance, ensuring customer needs and business performance remain strategically aligned.
Where I Am Now
In my current role, I lead with a focus on balancing customer outcomes with business success. My experience across advisory, leadership, and senior management allows me to shape strategy, support teams, and deliver measurable results.
Reflections on My Journey
Looking back, what stands out most is the consistent opportunity to grow, adapt, and contribute to both people and performance. Fluent’s culture of development and progression has enabled me to continually challenge myself while making a meaningful impact on the business and its customers.

Fluent unlocked my potential
Where I Started
I joined Fluent in July 2014 as a Compliance Monitor, where I was responsible for identifying potential risks to the business through the review of call recordings and case files. This gave me a strong foundation in risk management and opened the door to supporting our Complaints Team, which broadened my knowledge across multiple departments.
How I Grew
In 2017, I stepped into the role of Compliance Operations Manager as Fluent began expanding into new products, including first charge mortgages and lifetime mortgages. I was proud to help shape our risk framework and support the recruitment and training of new Compliance Monitors.
After five years in this role, I transitioned to the First Charge Sales Team in 2022, where I gained firsthand experience with the customer journey. I quickly developed a passion for sales and team development, which led to opportunities to support our Sales Academy Team and, later, manage my own team of advisers.
Where I Am Now
Since June 2024, I’ve been leading our Mortgage Retentions Team, helping to drive performance and improve conversions from our existing customer base. Alongside these role changes, I’ve also achieved several qualifications, including CeMAP, RO5, and CeRER, and graduated from Fluent’s Leadership Academy.

Looking back over 11 years, what stands out most to me is the culture of trust, development, and support. I’ve been empowered to explore new paths, continually develop, and make lifelong friendships along the way.

I found my path at Fluent
Where I Started
I joined Fluent in January 2023 as an Assistant Financial Accountant, coming in AAT-qualified and eager to build on my finance skills. From the very beginning, I gained exposure to tax, financial statements, and management accounts preparation, which gave me a strong foundation.
How I Grew
With Fluent’s support, I was promoted to Financial Accountant in November 2023 while completing my ACCA studies, which the business also supported financially.
By June 2024, I progressed into a Management Accountant role, where I led a team of two and gained valuable experience in staff management and financial analysis. Just months later, in January 2025, I passed my final ACCA exam and qualified as a Chartered Accountant — a milestone I had worked hard to achieve.
Where I Am Now
Most recently, in July 2025, I was promoted to Finance Manager. I now oversee a wider team and play an active role in supporting the business at a strategic level.
Reflections on My Journey
Fluent’s encouragement and support have been crucial throughout my journey. I’ve been able to achieve qualifications, step up into new challenges, and grow into a leadership role far quicker than I ever imagined. I’m excited to continue building my career with Fluent.
